Here you will find our process, notices, tips, and a general submission form. We approach everything from a conscious place - seeking to break the stigmas and stereotypes modern theatre has placed on how we tell stories.

Submission Details:

Please submit a 1–2 minute Shakespeare monologue that captures the tone and energy of the production. We encourage bold, text-driven choices that reflect the style of the show.

At the top of your video, please slate by stating your name, pronouns, and a brief note about your fight experience (no need to elaborate—we welcome performers of all experience levels).

All submissions will be carefully reviewed. Select artists may be invited to a Zoom callback, during which we’ll explore the monologue you submitted in greater depth. This collaborative session allows us to get a sense of how you engage with Shakespeare’s text in real time.

Submissions due by 6/29 at midnight

Audition Tips:

A Note on Preparation:
Our work is rooted in the Folio method, so we place strong emphasis on language, punctuation, and breath as foundational tools. That said, we’re equally interested in you—your voice, your instincts, and your connection to the text.

Please choose a monologue that you genuinely love, and don’t feel restricted by traditional gender casting. We celebrate bold, authentic choices and welcome you to interpret the material in a way that feels personal and true to your artistry.

Self-tape guidelines:
Frame your video from the waist up, and ensure you are well-lit so we can clearly see your expressions and presence on screen.

We are constantly looking to connect with new actors passionate about making classical theater relevant and accessible to all. Fill out the form to be notified of any future audition notices.

You have the option of submitting a self-tape of a monologue that showcases not only you as an actor, but gives you the freedom to defy the limitations our field has placed on you based on gender, stereotype, race, sexuality, etc (which is something we as a company are all about). So have fun with it! If you need a monologue we have a packet of them here - Monologue Packet

Our Casting Process.

We will post notices about a month before rehearsals are set to begin for a production on here and actors access. We often request a monologue to be submitted via self-tape for the initial audition. Some roles will naturally have a race or gender restriction but for us, those are few and far between.

Once tapes are reviewed, callback invitations will be sent out. These invitations will include detailed instructions about parking, who is in the room, where to sign in, etc along with sides to prepare.

We are never looking for perfection, we have a rehearsal process to attempt that. We are looking for artists who want to grow and challenge themselves. We do expect you to prepare so you have the freedom in the callback room to play and explore alongside us. We want to be as good of a fit for you as much as you are for us.

Following callbacks, initial offers will go out. We promise to let people know our decision either way.
